Social  Welfare Department – Filling  up of vacancies  with eligible  students  in Social Welfare  Residential Institutions,  Best  Available  Schools,  Corporate  Colleges and shifting  of  students  from one Social  Welfare  Hostel  to  another  Social  Welfare Hostel  – Delegation of powers  to District  Collector  -  Orders– Issued.

ORDER:
    In  the  reference  2nd  read above,  the Secretary  to CM has  informed that the Hon’ble Chief  Minister desires  that  powers  are  to  be  delegated to  the District Collectors  with regard  to filling  of vacancies  available with eligible  students  in Government  Residential Schools of  all managements,  KGBVs,  Model Schools and  Best Available  Schools and  also  for  shifting  of  students  from  one  Hostel  to  another  Hostel.

2. In the  circumstances  reported  in  the  references  3rd  & 4th  read above, and  after careful  examination of  the matter, Government hereby  delegate  the powers  to the District  Collector  for filling  up  of  the  available  balance  vacancies with  eligible students  in  Social  Welfare  Residential Institutions,  Best  Available Schools,  Corporate Colleges  and  shifting  of students  from one  Social  Welfare Hostel  to another  Social Welfare Hostel  functioning  in  his  jurisdiction  of the  concerned District.

3. The Director of Social  Welfare, AP/the  Secretary,  APSWREIS/  the District Collectors  in  the State  shall  take  necessary  action accordingly.

4. The Tribal  Welfare/  Minority  Welfare/B.C. Welfare/  School  Education Departments  are requested to issue  orders  in  similar  lines  delegating  the  powers  to the Collectors  in respect of the Residential  Schools  and hostels  functioning  under their administrative  control.
