Attention of all the DT&AOs in the state is invited to subject and references cited.
As per the AP GPF 1935 rules and as per the orders of the Government vide reference 2nd cited, the minimum subscription of GPF of an employee shall not be less than 6% of the basic pay for regular employees. The AG's ofce also has requested the APCFSS to maintain the minimum subscription of 6 % of basic pay.
Further, it has been observed by the undersigned that the GPF subscriptions are not being deducted from some of the employees or a lesser amount(below 6%) is being deducted from the few.
Hence, all the DT&AOs are requested to instruct their STOs to verify whether the minimum subscription of 6% of basic pay is being deducted from the regular GPF employees (excluding Class IV, ZPPF, Municipal employees, PTD), while admitting the salary bills.
They are also instructed to certify that the above percentage of GPF deduction is being watched in respect of the regular employees covered under GPF. If not, specifc reasons may be obtained, as to why, the subscription amount is not being deducted or a lesser amount is deducted from the respective employee. The DTAOs are requested to instruct their STOs not to honour salary bills of regular government employees who falls under G.P.F , without G.P.F subscriptions.
