The attention of all the Collectors & DEOs of the State is invited to the reference 3rd cited (Copy enclosed) and they are informed that, the Election commission of India has permitted to utilize the services of Anganwadi workers(AWW) and Contract Employees as OPOS subject to certain conditions laid down therein.
2. They are therefore, requested to receive the Form 12 applications till 1st May, 2024 from those voters on election duty (all categories) who are electors within their working districts.
3. It is reiterated that, the extension of the receiving Form 12 applications should be well publicized in the Print and electronic Media and DEO's website.
4. Date and Venues of facilitation centers for voters on election duty and Postal Voting centers for Essential Services category shall be intimated through SMS/Whatsapp messages/Nodal Officers and also through print and electronic media.
5. List of Postal Nodal Officers of Police & all other Departments and instructions on Postal Ballots issued from time to time shall be uploaded in DEO's website.
