It has came to the notice of the under signed that the indent quantities placed for painting by the Head Master / Filed Engineers Principals are in variance to the required quantities by large margin, and the painting companies are raising objections to the variations in the quantities between indents and actual requirements. Hence the following instructions are issued.
2. Hence painting companies are directed to the start paintings in the School / College as per the readiness given by the Head Masters and Principals. While taking pre-measurements of surface area of painting, the presence of the Engineering Assistant ,Head Masters / Principals of the School/ Junior College is mandatory and they shall sign the same. They shall upload the certifcate immediately in STMS duly making necessary entries. The Field Engineers have to reverify the indent once again. If the quantity is increased by more than 30% of original indented quantity the new indent has to be approved by the Deputy Executive Engineer of the concerned executing agencies.
3. In this regard, in case where the variation between the indented quantity and pre-measurement quantity is more than 30% the concerned DVEOs and District Educational Ofcer /Additional Project Coordinator will initiate disciplinary action against the concerned Head Masters and Principals. Action should also be initiated against the concerned Engineering Assistants for lack of application of mind while estimating the area of painting.
4. Hence, any deviation to the above process the concerned person will be personally held responsible and suitable action will be taken against such personnel.
