Sub: School Education Department — Filling up the vacant posts of Mandal Educational OfcersrI with the Headmaster GraderII of Government Management – Instructions issued – Regarding.

ORDER:
All Regional Joint Directors of School Education in the State are directed to fill up the vacant posts of Mandal Educational OfcersrI in their respective zones with the Headmasters GraderII of Government Management (by transfer based on seniority and willingness), subject to the outcome of all the Writ Petition(AT)s/Writ Petitions/ Contempt cases and SLP, if any pending before the Hon’ble Courts.
Further, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education Ofcers in the State are requested to strictly adhere the following guidelines and rules in force and schedule (annexed) without any deviation and complete the exercise in transparent manner.
The guidelines are detailed below.
i. The MEOrI post shall be filled by taking the respective zone as Unit of appointment as was done previously in case of the HM graderII of Government Management.
ii. Prepare the seniority list of GrrII HM/MEO of Government Management in respective zone @1:2 ratio as per the Guide Lineri .
iii. Counseling shall be conducted calling the eligible MEO/GrrII HM of Government Management as per the seniority and instructions issued above to exercise their option for posting as MEO-I.
Further, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education in the State are requested to furnish detailed report in the matter to this ofce after completion of the counseling, as per the schedule enclosed.
