Sub: AP Samagra Shiksha – SIEMAT – Orientation to State Resource Groups (SRGs) on development of e-Contents for DIKSHA – identifcation of faculty/teachers as Resource Group- Instructions issued.

All the District Educational Ofcers & Ex-Ofcio Project Cooriginators, Additional Project Co-ordinators of Samagra Shiksha and all the Principals of DIET Colleges in the State are informed that The Central Institute of Education Technology, NCERT New Delhi, has informed in its letter (reference cited 1 above) regarding National Education Policy (NEP)– 2020 and its emphasis on the development of quality eContent in varied forms in all regional languages for a diverse group of learners including DIVYANG.
They are further informed that several initiatives have been launched by the Government of India for dissemination of eContent such as DIKSHA (One Nation One Platform), PMeVIDYA (One Class One Channel), MOOCs on SWAYAM, ePathshala, NISHTHA etc, DIKSHA has been sought as a one-stop solution for School Education.
Further, it is informed that, to create a pool of resources in all the Indian languages and disseminate among stakeholders in multiple languages on these portals, apps, verticals, DTH channels, CIET – NCERT plans to organize a series of workshops/orientation programmes to train teachers/educators in States/UTs to enable them to create a variety of quality eContents in State. CIET, NCERT propose to orient state resource teams on all the ICT initiatives including access and development of e_Contents, open licensing, cyber safety and security and complete the same in a time-bound manner, these programmes will be conducted virtually using online video conferencing tools.
In this context, 20 teachers (annexure-1) were identifed for the said virtual orientation programme which is scheduled from 21-11-2022 to 25-11-2022, daily 4 sessions from 9.30 am to 05:15 pm. Hence All the District Educational Ofcers & Ex-Ofcio Project Coordinators, Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha and Principals of DIETs are requested to communicate the training schedule to the above-identifed teachers with instructions to attend the above-said training without fail. They are also requested to furnish the training completion certifcate issued by NCERT to quality.apssa@gmail.com.
