Government Junior Colleges in the State - Permission accorded for exemption and relaxation to the staff of GJCs in attending colleges for preparation of lesson plans for the academic year 2020-2021 amidst the threat of COVID-19 - Twice in a week with 50°/o of attendance on each day.

Sub : Intermediate Education - Government Junior Colleges in the State - Permission accorded for exemption and relaxation to the staff of GJCs in attending colleges for preparation of lesson plans for the academic year 2020-2021 amidst the threat of COVID-19 - Twice in a week with 50°/o of attendance on each day - Orders -Issued .

State General Secretary, Government Junior Lecturer's  Association,
Andhra Pradesh has requested to permit them to attend colleges twice in a week with the attendance of 50% of staff members on each day so that the precautions of Covid-19 could be followed by maintaining social distancing amongst the threat of spreading of Covid-19. They also requested for full exemption to pregnant women lecturers, physically challenged, bllnd, other staff members who are suffering from chronic diseases and staff members who live in containment zones and red zones of Covid- 19.

Matter was examined. All the staff members who working in Government Junior Colleges in the State are permitted to attend the colleges twice In a week with the attendance of 50% of staff members on each day to follow the precautions of Covld-19 by maintaining social distancing amongst the threat of spreading of Covid-19 and the pregnant women lecturers, physically challenged, blind, other staff members who are suffering from chronic diseases and staff members who live in containment zones and red Zones of Covid-19 are exempted from the duties. However they should be available on phone during officer hours and work from Home.They also should attend the office when called upon by the controlling officers.

These proceeding should be treated as "Most Urgent" and should be acknowledged.
