ORDER:
World Health Organization (WHO) has declared recent Novel Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) affecting all the regions of the world as Pandemic. In this context, Government of Andhra Pradesh has taken several measures to strengthen the surveillance for containment, control and prevention of COVID-19 including “lockdown”.
2. During the “lockdown”, it is to be ensured that movement of persons is restricted so that people stay put in their homes and also to ensure that essential commodities are made available at reasonable rates. Therefore, the Government hereby constitute “State Level Coordination Teams” as annexed to this order.
3. The “State Level Coordination Teams” shall:
i. Ensure effective enforcement of the “lockdown”
ii. Take all measures to ensure that Essential Commodities are made available to the general public during the lockdown period.
iii. Involve the departments related to the subjects allocated to the Coordination teams.
iv. Forecast the availability of Essential Commodities in the near term and long term and take immediate measures required to ensure availability.
v. Co-ordinate all issues received at the 1902 Spandana Call Center, District & State Level Control Rooms for timely redressal.
vi. Collate “Daily Situation Report (DSR)” to be submitted to the State Control Room by the Marketing, Civil Supplies (including OMCs), Police, Dairy Development, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, MA & UD, Panchayat Raj, Labour departments etc.
4. The Coordination team incharge of the overall coordination will set up and manage the “State Control Room” to ensure effective enforcement of the “lockdown” and to receive calls/complaints with regard to “lockdown” as well as with regard to availability of Essential Commodities.
5. The District Collector will set up a similar “District Control Room” headed by Joint Collector to ensure smooth supply of essential commodities and to receive calls/complaints in this regard during the duration of “lockdown”. The “District Control Room” will work in coordination with the “State Control Room”.
6. In case of any difficulties in the manufacturing, movement of essential goods/services & related issues, the general public can contact the “State Level Coordination Teams” and the “State/District Control Rooms” to redress their problems.
