    Attention is invited to the reference read, Samagra  Shiksha,  AP  was implementi ng series of Swachhata and WASH activities. As part of WASH activiti es in school, i t is important to bring about the desired change in childre n as well as other people in school, for the optimum and righ t utilization of the facil i ties. Water, san itation and hygiene behaviour cha nge communication activities need to be part of the daily routine of all ch ild ren. In this con nection behavioural change among school children on better health and hygiene practi ces is one of the major component of Strengthening swachh vidyalaya initiatives.

    Hence the District Educational Officers & Ex· Offici o Project Coordi nators and the Additional Project Coordinators of the Samagra Shiksha in the state are hereby requested to issue suitable instructions to CMOs and M EOs to impl emen t th e clean l i ness pledge and hand wash ing demonstrati on du ring early morning assembly on 26th J anuary (Rebulic day) in the schools in the state and furnish the details of No. School and students participated along with documentation, 10 high resolution photos to this mail.
