O R D E R:   
     In the reference 1st read above, Government have constituted Godavari Urban Development Authority with Head Quarters at Kakinada under Sections 3 & 4 of the A.P. Metropolitan Region and Urban Development Authorities Act, 2016 covering 280 Villages in 26 Mandals of East Godavari District with an extent of 2183.02 Sq.Kms.

2.  In the reference 3rd read above, Government have included the Two Urban Local Bodies i.e., Tuni and Ramachandrapuram Municipalities and 74 Villages of (7) Mandals covering 74 Villages with a total extent of 557.3 Sq.Kms in Godavari Urban Development Authority Region, Kakinada.   

3.  In the reference 4th read above, the Vice-Chairman, GUDA, Kakinada has furnished the comprehensive proposals for expansion of jurisdiction of Godavari Urban Development Authority, Kakinada  by adding 1647.66 Sq.Kms in 236 Villages in 24 Mandals  and (4) Urban Local Bodies and requested the Government to issue orders in the matter.

4.  Government after careful examination of the matter hereby include include (4) Urban Local Bodies i.e., Amalapuram, Mandapeta, Mummidivaram and Yeleswaram Municipalities/Nagarpanchayats and 24 Mandals covering 236 Villages with a total extent of 1647.66 Sq.Km in to the existing jurisdiction of Godavari Urban Development Authority Region, Kakinada.  Now, the total extent of Godavari Urban Development Authority is  4387.6636 Sq.Kms. 

5.  The Vice Chairperson, Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA), Kakinada shall take further necessary action, accordingly.

6.  The appended notification will be published in an Extra-ordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated.28.01.2020.

7.   The Commissioner of Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada is requested to supply 100 copies of the Extra-ordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
