Sub:-  School Education – Organization of Fit India Plogging Run on 2^nd October, 2019 as a tribute to the Father of Nation on his 150^th Birth Anniversary - Instructions - Issued.

     It is informed that, in the ref. read above (copy enclosed), the Government has informed that the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India has launched a nationwide “Fit India Movement” on 29^th August, 2019 to inculcate physical-activity/sports into daily life of citizens.

    Further, informed that, the Department of Sports has requested to organise the FIT India Plogging Run 2^nd October as a tribute to the Father of Nation on his 150^th Birth Anniversary. The participants would collect plastics garbage while running. The plastic garbage could be collected from homes, streets and open spaces along the path of the Run and also requested to encourage maximum participants in this event and furnish details of the participation along with photos/videos in this regard to mail id rajmaurya.edu@nic.in and upload on the FIT India portal firindia.gov.in.

Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education / all the District Educational Officers in the State are requested to issue necessary instructions to all field officers / Headmasters/ Principals of all schools/colleges, DIETs, IASE, CTEs in the State on the following.

•   The participants i.e., students and teachers would collect plastics garbage while running. The plastic garbage could be collected from homes, streets and open spaces along the path of the Run and also requested to encourage maximum participants in this event

•   To encourage maximum participants in this event and furnish details of the participation along with photos/videos in this regard to mail id rajmaurya.edu@nic.in and upload on the FIT India portal firindia.gov.in under intimation to this office without fail.

These instructions should be followed scrupulously.
