All the Spl.Chief Secretaries / Prl.Secretaries / Secretaries to Government are informed that, the Hon’ble CM desires to hold meetings of Council of Ministers regularly on 2nd and 4th Wednesday in every month at 11.00 AM in the Cabinet Meeting Hall, 1st Floor of Building No.1, A.P.Secretariat, Velagapudi from November, 2019 onwards. If the Wednesday happens to be the Public Holiday, the meeting will be held on the next working day. The Departments need not wait for the notice from the Cabinet division in this regard separately.
2. They are further informed that, the Secretaries of the department concerned should get the approval of proposals in advance and brief the Hon’ble CM before placing the matter to Council of Ministers preferably on 1st / 3rd Friday or Saturday of every month. The Cabinet Memorandum should be handed over to the Cabinet Section in General Administration Department at least three days in advance. Three days prior to Cabinet will be the briefing day to the Hon’ble Chief Minister. The guidelines issued by the General Administration (Cabinet) Department on preparation of Cabinet Memorandum in the prescribed format along with annexures as detailed in the Cabinet Hand Book, which is available in the website : gad.ap.gov.in / Secretariat Procedures / Cabinet Hand Book, should scrupulously be followed.
3. The Prl.Secretary to Govt.(Poll), General Administration Department will ensure compliance to these instructions from all the Spl.Chief Secretaries / Prl.Secretaries / Secrearies to Govt.
4. All the Spl.Chief Secretaries / Prl.Secretaries / Secrearies to Govt. are requested to adhere to the above instructions.
