Attention to all District Education Officers,with the aim to ensure that capacity buiding of all teachers in the state can be carried out simultaneously, SCERT has decided to release online courses on the DIKSHA platform, that can be accessed by all teachers using their Andhra Pradesh e Knowledge Exchange (APeKX) IDs. The objective is to ensure that all teachers In the state can be trained on a continuous basis. Online courses also ensure that teachers can complete the course in their own home without having to attend In-person workshops for training.
As part of this Initiative, SCERT has created an online course on DIKSHA for the dissemination of the results of the NAS and SLAS surveys. The objectives of this course are to:
Sensitize teachers about large scale assessments such as SLAS and NAS
a. ProvideInformation on students'performance in these assessments
b. Introduce post NASinterventions (Reading and understanding assessments, developing Leaming Outcome based classroom strategies elc.)
c. Enable teachers make targeted andinformedinterventions to enhance student learning and performanceIn subsequent assessments.
The complellon of this course is essential for teachers to utilize assessment results and insights to improve their students' learning levels.
Three separate courses have been created. Each teacher must complete the course relevant for them:
All teachers and Headmasters from Primary,Upper Primary and High Schools (Govt.,MPP, ZPP) are expected to take this course compulsoriy.
The following is the timeline of the oourse. A more detailed course plan can be foundin the annexure. The below timelines must be compulsorily adhered to:
All teachers must enrol for the course before May 7th and complete the course before May 31st. The course will be closed down on May 31".
The progress of teachers will be tracked on a weekly basis.
The course will be made available on DIKSHA, the national platform for digital teacher training content. Teachers can login to DIKSHA using their APeKX IDs. Instructions on how to use DIKSHA through APeKX and how to access these courses are ment oned in Annexure 1.
Instructions to District Educational Officers:
1. In order to ensure the maximum uptake and consumptionof the online course, all District EducationalOfficers are herebyinstructed to follow the below guideines:
2. Instruct allheadmasters to ensure that all teachers download the DIKSHA Appand/orlearn how tologin and enrolfor the course before May 1st with the help of the videos ( inks given above).
3. Instruct allheadmasters to ensure that all teachers from their schools enrol for the course before May 7th and complete the oourse before May 31stwithout fail.
4. Instruct all Deputy Education Officers and MandaIEducation Officers to ensure that all pr mary teachers download the DIKSHA App and/or learn how tologin and enrolfor the course before May 1st with the help of the videos (links given above).
5. Instruct all Deputy Education Officers and MandaIEducation Officers that all teachers enrol for the course before May 7thand complete the course before May 31st without fai .
6. Follow up every week till May 31st to ensure that allteachers enrol and complete the course.
Instructions to Headmasters:
1. Ensure that you and all the teachers in your schooldownload the DIKSHA App and/or learn how to login and enrolfor the course before May 1st with the help of the videos (lnks given above).
2. Ensure that all teachers from your school enrolfor the course before May 7th and complete the course before May 31st without fail.
