Iam directed to refer to this Department's letter of even number dated 1410/22nd January, 2019 on the above subject and enclose a copy of the notification issued vide S.0.1044(E) dated 28111 February, 2019 whereby "The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (Amendment) Act, 2019" has come into force w.e.f. 1st March, 2019. This is for your information and necessary action. The notification may also be accessed from this Ministry's website www.mhrd.gov.in under the link Elementary Education → Right to Education (URL: https://mhrd.gov.in/rte rules).
