In continuance of the reference cited above, all the District Project Officers, SamagraShiksha and District Educational Offrcers in the State are informed that the Samagra Shiksha,Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati have decided to celebrate the Smt. Savitribhai Phule birth dayCelebrations in the state of Andhra Pradesh as she was the l" Women Teacher in India.
As part of this, the category wise best female teachers who have rendered the serviceswere selected to honour with Smt.Savitribhai Phule Awards at Visakhapatnam. The Hon'ble,HRD Minister Govt. of A.P will be the Chief Guest and distribute the awards to the selectedfemale teachers. (Awardees list). Furlher it is informed that Smt. Savitribhai Phule Award2018 shallnot be considered forthe extension of the services of awardees in all catogiries.
In this regard, all the District Project Officers, Samagra Shiksha and District
Educational Officers in the State are requested to communicate to the award winners as perthe list enclosed to the Proceedings and depute them to Visakhapatnam to participate and toreceive the awards from the Hon'ble HRD Minister, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
The TA/DA of the awardees should be met from the DPO, Visakhapatnam
management cost.
