ఉద్యోగి ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకుంటే పరిస్థితి ఏమిటి ?

Sub:-Public Services - Subordinate services - Providing compassionate appointment to the dependent of the Government employee who committed suicide while in service - Clarification - orders Issued.
Ref:- G.O.Ms.N0.687, GA (Ser.A) Department, dt: 3.10.1977.
In the G.O. cited, orders were issued to provide compassionate o ment to the dependent of the Government employee who died in harne while service as a social security measure. It has been represented to the G nt by certain dependents of Government employees who committed or providing compassionate appointment to them irrespective of cause of death.
2. The main object of the scheme of compass tment is to provide immediate relief to the family of the deceased Go m employee who dies in harness while in service by providing an alterna inner to the family of the deceased employee. Government have conside at the plight of the family of a deceased Government employee who die itting suicide while in service would be the same as that of the family ased Government employee who died in harness. Therefore, Governm decided to extend the benefit of compassionate appointment to th d dent of Government employee who commits suicide.
3. Government, after car ination of the matter, hereby direct that compassionate appointme provided, in accordance with the existing instructions on the sch me o mpassionate appointment to the dependents of the Government emplo e who committed suicide while in service. All the existing instructions and p of the compassionate appointment shall be applicable to the cases of o sionate appointment of the dependent of Government employee w mit suicide while in service.
4. These Orders shall come into force with immediate effect prospectively and s shall not be reopened.
