ORDER:

 In the G.O. first read above orders have been issued introducing grading system for class VI and VII along with the marks for the year 2006-2007 and the proposal for reducing the question papers in respect of 10^th class is deferred for the present.

2.       In the reference 2^nd read above, the Director of School Education, Hyderabad has reported that the Director of Government Examinations, Hyderabad has requested the Director, S.C.E.R.T., to issue procedural guidelines and instructions to all the District Educational Officers and Head Masters of Schools in the State for implementation of Grading System in VI and VII Classes for year 2006-07. In this regard, the Director, S.C.E.R.T., has conducted a workshop with the Experts and Faculty of SCERT and accordingly has prepared the Procedural Guidelines as desired by the Director of Government Examinations. In the meeting the subject experts and participants have felt that the Grading System along with marks to be introduced from Class-1 onwards instead of from Classes- VI and VII and the Director of School Education, Hyderabad sought for Government orders in the matter.

3.       Government after careful examination of the matter have decided that grading shall be introduced for class I to VII along with the marks instead of class VI and VII for the year 2007-2008.

4.       The Director of School Education, Hyderabad shall take further action accordingly.
