        Read the following:-

3.      From the Govt. of India Lr.No.F-45-1/93, TE-II dt:29-3-96.

4.      G.O. Ms.No.181 Education (Trg.2) Department dated:20-6-96.

5.      From the Dept. of E.E. & L D.O. No.F.12-5/2001/EE, dt:12-1-2004.

Government of India  in the reference 1^st read above has sanctioned the following  IASEs (4) and  CTEs (3) under the Government Sector during the year 1992-93.

(i)    Govt. IASE., Masabtank, Hyderabad

(ii)   Govt. IASE., Rajahmundry

            (iii)  Govt. IASE., Nellore

(iv)  Govt. IASE., Kurnool

(v)   Govt. CTE., Mahabubnagar

(vi)  Govt. CTE., Warangal

           (vii)  Govt. CTE., Nagarjunasagar

The above institutions have been established during 1995-96 and supported through the entire IX Plan period in terms of  civilworks, equipment, programmes etc.

2.         Government of India further sanctioned 6 IASEs under various Universities  established during 1997-98 in the  reference 4^th read above.  The following are the  IASEs in the State:

            (i). IASE, Osmania University, Hyderabad.

            (ii). IASE., Kakatiya University, Warangal

            (iii). IASE., Andhra University, Visakhapatnam

            (iv). IASE., Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi

            (v). IASE., Rastriya Sanskrit Vidya Peet, Tirupathi

            (vi). IASE., Padmavathi Mahila University, Tirupathi

The above IASEs have been established during 1997-98 and supported during IX Plan period in terms of civil works, equipment, salaries, programmes etc.  Out of the above 6 IASEsthe IASE, Rastriya Sanskrit Vidya Peet, Tirupathi has been accessing funds from GOI directly.

3.         In the  reference 5^th read above, the Government of India have communicated norms for supporting the Teacher Education Institutions under X  Plan.  Accordingly, the State is eligible for 2 IASEs i.e., 1 IASE for every 20 districts and 8 CTEs @ 1 CTE per three districts.

4.         As per the Government of India guidelines, the support to 2 IASEs was only during X Plan, & and hence it is decided to support following 2 Government IASEs from MHRD:

(i)                  Govt. IASE., Masabtank, Hyderabad

(ii)                Govt. IASE., Nellore

 5.        In the case of CTEs it is decided to support the following IASEs in the pattern of CTEs.

(i)                  Govt. IASE., Rajahmundry

(ii)                Govt. IASE., Kurnool

(iii)               IASE., Osmania University

(iv)              IASE., Andhra University

These 4 institutions shall take CTE prescribed programmes.  Further, in case of leftover IASEs under Universities, the Universities will generate funds through self finance programmes and other resources of the Universities concerned.

6.         The Director of School Education, A.P., Hyderabad shall submit necessary proposals immediately to Government of Andhra Pradesh for taking necessary action
