The under mentioned officers are informed that the National Programme on School Standards and Evaluation (NPSSE), known as “ SHAALA SIDDHI ” is identified as a comprehensive instrument for school evaluation, which leads to school improvement. It is developed by the National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA). Its aims are to enable schools to evaluate their performance in a more focused and strategic manner and to facilitate them for making professional judgments for improvement this programme will create awareness among the Head Masters of the all schools of the state a sustainable and in institutionalized system of school evaluation, which results in development of common understanding across stake holders about the “ SHAALA SHIDDI” programme. The NPSSE programme has been built upon the strength of the proposed school evaluation, initiatives like “Gunotsav” of Gujarat, Samiksha of Odisha. This evaluation framework also developed by the Karnataka School Quality Assessment and Accreditation cell (KSQAAC), etc. It is also rooted in evidence – based international and national researches, on school evaluation practices.
They are further informed that the following personal are identified to attend the “SHAALA SHIDDI” orientation programme scheduled to be held on 02.11.2016 and 03.11.2016 at Venue, KL University , Guntur District.
1.All the DEOs,
2.All the Principal DIETs,
3.One Deputy EO from each district,
4.Four MEOs representing each division and
5.Four High School Head Masters, one for representing each division.
In this regard the following committees have been constitute with the officers shown
below with immediate effect to monitor the “SHAALA SIDDI” programme at State level at District level etc.
