PFRDA CIRCULAR - Launch of D-Remit For CPS Employees

Dear Sir/Madam,
Direct Remittance or D-Remit – an additional option to contribute – is now available for the Subscribers. D-Remit is an electronic system through which money can be transferred from Subscriber’s Bank account to the Trustee Bank directly. To use D-Remit, Subscriber is required to have a Virtual ID (Virtual Account). The introduction of the D-Remit facility makes investing in NPS not only simpler and hassle free but will ensure the Subscriber get same day NAV for his/her investment.
In this regard, Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has issued a Circular (No. PFRDA/2020/44/SUP-CRA/17 dated October 1, 2020) in order to help and guide the Subscribers of NPS in understanding detailed process of D-Remit.
