O R D E R :-
In the Government Orders 2nd and 3rd read above, orders were issued for implementing Employees Health Scheme to provide cashless treatment to the State Government employees, pensioners and their eligible dependent family members in replacement of the medical reimbursement system under APIMA Rules, 1972.
2. In the Government Orders 4th and 5th read above, Government have constituted the Steering Committee under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary to Government to review the implementation of Employees Health Scheme (EHS), from time to time to make appropriate recommendations for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the scheme.
3. In the reference 6th read above, Government have reviewed the scheme and certain decisions have been taken for effective implementation of Employees Health Scheme (EHS). Para-3 (1) of the said G.O., specified that a separate Management Committee within the NTR Vaidyaseva Trust shall be constituted to monitor the implementation of the Employees Health Scheme which will have representatives from the recognised employees unions and accordingly in the reference 7th read above, Government have constituted Management Committee within the NTR Vaidyaseva Trust to monitor the implementation of Employees Health Scheme with the representatives of the Officials from Health Medical & Family Welfare (HM & FW) Department and Dr.NTR Vaidyaseva Trust ((xiii) and Representatives of Employees (ix).
4. In view of the orders issued vide references 8th, 9th and 10th read above according recognition to the “Andhra Pradesh Government Employees Association” (APGEA), according membership to "Andhra Pradesh Government Employees Association" (APGEA) as a separate group on the APCS JSC (State Level) on permanent basis and inserting the words “XIX. A.P. Government Employees Association” from staff side as a separate group under Rule (3) of the annexure of the Rules issued vide reference 1st read above respectively, the President, APGEA in his letter in the reference 11th read above has requested the Government to issue necessary orders including/inserting their association i.e., APGEA from the representatives of employees side in the committee constitution of Management Committee to monitor the implementation of the Employees Health Scheme within the Dr. YSR Arogyasri Health Care Trust duly modifying the orders issued vide 7th read above.
5. In the circumstances reported by the President, APGEA above, Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby amend the G.O.Rt.No.1541, G.A.(SW) Department, dated 19.07.2016, (in the ref. 7th read above), as follows:
AMENDMENT
In para (4) of the G.O. under Representative of Employees, after the words “ix – President, A.P. Government Vehicle Drivers Central Association” the words “X- The President, A.P. Government Employees Association” shall be inserted.
