     The Govt. of India has issued orders that the cooking cost under National
Programme of Mid Day Meal in Schools (NP-MDMS) has been increased by 5.35% over and above the existing cooking cost w.e.f. 01.04.2019 i.e. Rs.4.48 for
Primary and @ Rs.6.71 for Upper Primary, NCLP and IX & X Classes.

     Accordingly, the Govt of A.P., has issued administrative sanction for
enhancement of Cooking Cost @ Rs.4.48 for Primary and@ Rs.6.71 for Upper
Primary, NCLP and IX & X Classes w.e.f.01.04.2019.

     All the Regional Joint Directors (RJDs) and District Educational Officers in the State are requested to take necessary action accordingly.
