    All the District Educational Officers in the State are here by informed that SCERT developed Academic Calendar for Primary , Upper Primary and High School levels for the academic year 2019-20. Certain new Initiatives has been planned to introduce in schools to improve levels of learning of the students by making schooling is joyfu l. In this connection a special programmee- No School Bag Day (Srujana-San ivaram sandadi)- was designed for Primary school children.

    The main objective of this programmee is to create joyful,  child friendly learning atmosphere in all Primary schools. As  part of this children have to participate in  different creative activities. Children can learn things easily by involve in such creative activities. In this context this No School Bag Day is designed for pri mary school children.

    No School Bag Day (Srujana-Sanivaram sandadi) should be conducted I M and 3•d Saturday of every month. The whole day is meant for conduct of interesting creative activities instead  of   regular class room teaching.Session wise activities was designed  sepa rately  for class I & II and Class III to V. All chi ldren from class I to V shotild participate class specific activities as mentioned  in Academic Calendar.

    In this connection all the District Educational Officers may inform to instruct all Primary Schools under all managemems  to implement No School Bag Day (Srujana-Sani varam sandadi) in the I" and 3'd Saturday of every month by conducting interesting creati ve activities. And also i nstruct all Manda! Educational Ot1icers and School Complex Head Masters to ensure the effective implementa tion of the programmee as mentioned in the attached annexure of this proceedings.
