Press Note from Finance Department - Enhancement of Dareness Allowance to State Government employees and Dearness Relief to the pensioners w.e.f. 01 01.2018

PRESS NOTE

Subject: Enhancement of Dareness Allowance to State Government employees and Dearness Relief to the pensioners w.e.f. 01 01.2018 at the following rates:

(a)
(i)  Revised Pay  Scalcs 2015@ 1.572% raising It from to 25.676%  to 27.248%.

(iii UGC Scales of  Pay 2006 @ 3% of  pay  raising Itfrom 139%  to 142%

(b) Sanction of ad-hoc increase to the Part-Time Village Revenue Assistants @ RS. 300/ - p.m. from 01 01.2018 to 01.06.2018.

Expenditure involved: Rs.513.13 Crores per annum

Number of beneficiaries:

1.  All Government Employees (nos) - 4,49.000.
2.  All Government Pensioners (nos) - 3.57,000
3.  All  Part-Time Assistants and Village Revenue Assistants (nos)- 23.287.
