Sub: DARC -UNICEF Visakhapatnam is requesting to Implement Meena Prapancham Radio program as per schedule attached for 6th and 7th classes and Conduct TALK module session to 8th to 10th classes on weekly once -regd.

Ref: Adolescent Empowerment Program approved by District Collector & Chairman -DARC I UNICEF Visakhapatnam Dated: 21.06.2018 to implement in 22 mandals of Visakhapatnam with Education Department with support of UNICEF -Hyd, AP.

   It is to submit that as per the reference cited above, the project activities initiated in 22 mandals of Visakhapatnam from August 2018 onwards. As proposed in the action plan, Orientation and Planning meet with MEOs, Dy. DEO and other Support  Staff of Education, SSA and ITDA has completed in the month August 2018, Trainings for Trainers on Meena Prapancham with selected two Resource Persons from 22 mandals are training completed in the month of September and October 2018 for 2 days and Training for Trainer on TALK module has completed with selected two Resource Persons from 22 mandals in November 2018 for 3 days and also completed the MRC level Point Teachers trainings on Meena Prapancham for two teachers from each school and TALK module trainings for two teachers from each school of all 22 mandals are completed in the month December 2018.

   In this connection, it is to requesting you to initiate and give necessary proceedings to implement the activities as trained to the teachers for classes 6th to 1oth of all 22 mandal of Visakhapatnam. The following activities may initiate from 23rd January 2018 as below;

1.  Meena Prapancham - Radio Program for 61h & 7th classes as mentioned schedule (Anx - 1) which broadcast through All India Radio & 102 FM rainbow from 11.45 to 12.00pm from 23rd onwards till 24th March 2018.

2.  Talk Module session weekly one session for 8th to 1oth classes as proposed on Improving the Lives of the Adolescents of 22 mandals of all Upper and High Schools from class gth to 1oth on provided TALK Modules.

   It is further requesting you to give necessary proceedings to Mandal Education Officer's and School Head Masters to Slot these sessions in the curriculum and to ensure the Implementation and Monitor the adolescent empowerment program at each school level.

   It is further to submit that the Dy. DEO and MEO are requested to review the implementation of Adolescent Empowerment Programme at monthly review meetings, also reqyested to submit report DEO on the program. Further it is intimating that the report can be coped  with  DARC  Vizag  for  necessary  update  and  information  or  mail  the  report  to arcvsp2016@gmail.com
