Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is a national program for educating and popularizing science among school students of VI to XI standards. VVM also endeavours to identify the bright minds among the student community, who are keen on subjects related to science.
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is initiated by Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) in collaboration with Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) an institution under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

REGISTRATION PROCESS
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan is a unique and online examination to be conducted by Vijnana Bharati in Association with NCERT & Vigyan Prasar at National Level. Mode of registration for Schools and Individual Students will be online only.
School and student Registration:
A fully web based option will be available for the registration of schools. The school Principal/authority needs to appoint the school exam coordinator and he/she will… School Registration : www.vvm.org.in – Registration - Register as School - Disclaimer-I Agree-Enter Institute Name-E mail-Mobile Number (for receiving OTP)-Create Password(Greater than 6 words)-Click on I read and I agree-Sign Up-OTP is on your registered Mobile-Enter OTP-School Registration completed. Don’t forget the Password.
Enter www.vvm.org.in with School login credentials User Name (as your registered E mail) and password.
1. Enter the details of the school like school name, school address, name of principal, name of exam coordinator, mobile number, email ID etc. This information will be shown as school profile on web site in your school dashboard .Edit the School Profile if you want.
2. After the above mentioned process the school will be provided with a unique identification number.
3. The exam coordinator will now be able to register students who wish to take up the VVM online exam.
4. The coordinator enters minimal details like Name of student, Class, Gender, Email ID, Phone No. etc. It can be an offline process, because, editable excel file (no changes in the format of file will be acceptable) provided for data entry. This information will be shown as student profile on web site.
5. After completion of the entries the data can be uploaded or submitted online. If the uploading or data submission is successful he/she will be directed towards the payment page automatically. 6. After the successful submission of fee the exam coordinator will be provided with each student’s username and password. He/she will be distributing the same to respective students. The login Credentials of students will also be available in his/her school profile page as well. After that the job of exam coordinator is complete unless/until modification of student’s details is needed!
7. After successful submission, an OTP and email will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID of each registered student respectively.
8. The student can click the verification link and complete the verification process by entering the one-time password.
9. In the student profile page, the details of the student like profile photo need to be uploaded (mandatory), DOB, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Residential address etc.
10. The student must also specify the details of the device from which he is planning to take the exam in order to download the VVM Exam Application compatible with his/her device.
11. Student can confirm the details displayed or change the device by providing the details of the device from which he will be taking the exam.
12. Practice mock tests regularly on students registered device which builds confidence.
From the school login, the details of all the students registered from that school will be displayed. The authority of modification in the student’s name, student’s mobile number etc. will only be with the Principal/School Exam Coordinator.
Those students who wish to join as a Individual student their Examination is on 25th November,2018 (SUN DAY) provided with an option to choose from the centre at www.vvm.org.in Student will have to strictly come with his/her own device with good internet connectivity .
Final Examination:
The student will not be able to appear for the exam without the latest App updated installed in the desired device. On 25 November or 28 November 2018, the student should report to the exam center one hour before the exam time with his/her registered device (mobile/tablet /laptop). The student should click on the verify button in the App before the start of exam.
After successful verification student will be asked for OTP which will be provided by the School Exam Coordinator at the time of Examination.
The Examination starts on 11.00 AM ends at 01.00 PM on both days i.e 25th November,2018 and 28th November,2018 which the school is opted at the time of registration.
Desktops also allowed if the School have Computer Lab otherwise they have make their own arrangements.
Participation Certificates given as soft copies download from School & Student Dash boards by using their login credentials after completing the Examination Process.
