ORDER:

The Director of School Education, AP, Hyderabad has submitted proposals in the reference 1^st to 5^th read above, for permission to notify the vacancies of teachers through DSC-2008.

2. The following is the category wise abstract of various categories of posts vacant, required to be upgraded, new posts to be created and no. of vacancies for which promotions to be given and total no. of teacher posts to be recruited through DSC-2008 for giving notification of DSC-2008:

3. In the G.O.6^th read above, orders are issued to upgrade 15,584 posts of SGTs to that of School Assistants in the scale of Rs.7200-16925 and also to create 17,971 new posts of teachers (i.e., 12,210 School Assistants in the scale of Rs.7200-16925, 2,206 Physical Education Teachers in the scale of Rs.5470-12385 and 3,555 Language Pandits in the scale of Rs.5470-12385).

4. Govt. after careful examination of the proposal hereby permit the DSE to initiate the process of recruitment to fill up 50,063 sanctioned post of various categories of teachers during the year 2008-09 and he is permitted to notify these vacancies in DSC-2008.

5. The Director of School Education, AP, Hyderabad is requested to notify the number of vacancies, category-wise and District-wise separately.

6. The Director of School Education, AP, Hyderabad shall notify a detailed schedule relating to issue of notification and calling for applications and conduct of examination.

7. The notification of DSC-2008 is subject to the outcome of the O.As/ W.Ps pending in various courts and SLPs pending in Apex Court.

8. The DSE, AP, Hyderabad and Chairmen, DSCs shall scrupulously adhere to the terms of the schedule.
