All the District Educational officers Ex-Officio Project Coordinators and all the Additional Project Co-ordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the State are informed that, the RTE -20096m the New Education policy-2020 mandates that community participation/is highly essential to improve the education system by parental involvement n education and recognizing parents as the key stakeholders in the education system.lt encourages schools to engage parents meaningfully by ensuring that they are partners in their child's educational journey, Hence, it is essential to conduct the Mega Parent Teacher Meetings (PTMs)in all the Government management Schools across the State.

The Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) is a key initiative aimed at strengthening the bonding between parents,teachers, and the school.It helps parents understand their children's academic and behavioural levels, as well as their awareness of societal issues.Additionally, it serves as a platform for teachers to seek cooperation from parents for the benefit of students and for parents to learn what kind of support is needed from teachers.

In this regard, in accordance with the RTE Act-2009 and New Education policy-2020, The Government of Andhra Pradesh decides and orders to conduct First Mega Parent Teacher Meeting on 7th December 2024 at all Government Management schools in the State including Residential Schools on the same day, to provide a platform for teachers and parents to engage in meaningful dialogue focused on improving outcomes for each child.

Accordingly, the minute-to-minute programme schedule and detailed guidelines are annexed with these proceedings for smooth conducting of Mega Parent Teacher Meeting in all schools in the State.

Further it is also informed that the budget is released to the accounts of the Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha for onward release to all the Mandal Educational Officers towards meeting the Mega PTM expenditure in the schools in their jurisdiction based on the enrolment of the schools. The district wise budget allocated in this regard is annexed.

Hence, all the DisteEducational officers &Ex Officio Project Coordinators and all the Additongl Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the State are directed to consitute the committees to monitor at district, division and mandaf level or gonducting the event smoothly and to communicate the annexed mindt?to minute schedule, detailed guidelines In Both Telugu and English Version to all the government management schools in their jurisdiction.

All the RJDSEs in the State are requested to closely monitor the programme in their jurisdiction by following the minute to minute schedule, detailed guidelines scrupulously,
