PRESS NOTE
It is hereby informed that due to the spread of COVID-19 lockdown has been announced in the entire state and the public transport has also been stopped. All the schools i n the Government and private managements have been closed &om 19-03-2020 itself as a pl\'.Cautionary measure. It will be difficult for the students to go to the schools to collect their hall tickets as well as to go to the examination centres to take the examination due to non availabilit y of public transport. The students of residential schools have also been made to vacate their hostels and it is difficult for them also to reach the schools as well as centres. As there is no transportation it is very difficult for the Chief Superintendents. Departmental Onieers. Invigilators and other examination related stalT to reach the examination centres and make arrangements. The medical staff are fully involved in taking measures to stop the spread of the virus and police are deployed to enforce the lockdown. It wi ll be difficult for medical staff as well as police to concentrate on their assigned duties in examination centres.
In view of the aboYe situation the SSC Public Examinations are postponed for two weeks and the revised schedule will be announced after 31-03-2020.
