     It  is  informed  that,  in  the  ref.  read  above  (copy  enclosed),  Govt. have  requested  to  take  immediate  necessary  action  thereon  for  creating awareness  among  Students  about  preventing  interventions  for  reducing the  transmission  of  Novel  Corona  Virus  disease  and  other  commutable diseases,  as  directed  by  the  Government  of  India.

    Therefore,   all  Regional  Joint  Directors  of  School  Education  and District  Educational  Officers  in  the  State  are  requested  to  issue    necessary instructions  to  all  the  field  level  Officers  i.e.,  DyEO's,  MEO's  and  Head Masters  of  all  Management  Schools  in  the  State  to  follow  the  given guidelines   in  the  schools  and  in  their  respective  offices  for  creating awareness   among   sudents/staff     about   preventing   interventions   for reducing   the  transmission  of  Novel  Corona  Virus  disease  and  other commutable  diseases,  as  directed  by  the  Government  of  India:
The  following  are  certain  guidelines  for  preventive  interventions:

i. Frequent  hand  washing.  Wash  hands  with  soap  and  water  or  use alcohol-based  hand  rub.  Wash  hands  even  if  they  are  visibly  clean.

ii. Respiratory   etiquette's   (using   handkerchief   over   mouth   while coughing/sneezing,  use  of  tissue  paper  or  using  the  sleeve  of  shirt covering  upper  arm,  staying  away  from  college/school  when  sick, avoiding  public  gatherings,  etc.,)  which  help  in  preventing/reducing transmission  of  not  only  this  disease  but  also  large  number  of  other communicable  diseases,  notably  flu-like  illness.

iii.Throw  used  tissues  into  closed  bins  immediately  after  use.

iv.If  you  have  these  signs/symptoms  please  call  State  helpline  number or  Ministry  of  Health  &  Family  Welfare's  24X7,  helpline  at  01123978046.

v. Avoid  participating  in  large  gatherings.

vi.Don't  have  close  contact  with  anyone,  if  you're  experiencing  cough and  fever.

vii.Don't    Touch  your  eyes,  nose,  and  mouth,    Spit  in  public

viii.If  any  student  is  suffering  from  cold  and  cough,  the  concerned Headmaster  should  intimate  the  same  to  the  parent  of  such  student and  see  that  to  provide  necessary  medical  assistance.

ix.All  classrooms,  school  premises,  and  its  surroundings  should  be  kept clean.

x. Store  and  Cooking  rooms    should  be  kept  neat  and  clean

xi.Mid-day  Meals  should  be  prepared  in  hygienic  conditions.

xii.Meal-Plates  should  be  cleaned  with  soap  water  and  keep  dry  before using  plates.

xiii.Leaf-vegetables  and  vegetables  should  be  cleaned  with  salt  water before  using  it.

These  instructions  should  be  implemented  scrupulously.
