     In the reference 4th cited, the Joint Secretary' MHRD School Education Department and literacy , New Delhi has informed that, in conituation of Swachhata pakhwada / Swachhata hi Seva 2019 will commence from llth September,2Olg and massawareness generation activities for plastic waste management will be carried out across thecountry till lst October,20l9 and on 2nd October, Swachh Bharat Diwas, a special national shramdaan for plastic waste collection will be organized in all vitlages and towns across thecountry. Fror 3rd October tiil 27th October,20l9 (Diwali), the collected plastic waste will then be effectively recycled and disposed. The campaign will run as per following timeline'


Guidelines:

1. Schools may organize on avoidance of single usage plastic items and disposal of plasticwaste material by one student every day in daily morning assembly'.

2. Audio visual programme. to be undertaken to motivate students and community for plastic free lndia.

3. Teachers may inspect sanitary facilities in their school.

4. Conduct free campaigns and rallies to avoid the single use of plastic items.

5. Educate the students, how to recycle the plastic waste material.

6. From each school (swachhata monitor) may be nominated one student as an Ambassador for focusing on Swachhata during the swachhata Hi Seva'

7. Encourage the student to do shramadaan within the school and outside the school

8. Document the Swachhata pakwada (1st to l5th September) activities - send before 17th September and Swachhata Hi Seva ( 11th September' 2019 to1st october and 2nd october October 2019) activities send before 3rd october and recycling, effective, disposal collected plastic waste (3rd October to 27th October, 2019) send before 28th October this office.

     Hence, all the District Project officers and District Educational officers in the state are instructed to give necessary instructions to all govt', aided and private schools in the State to imprement shramdaan activities from 11th september,2019 to 1st october 2019 and 2nd october.2019 under Swachhat Hi Seva (SHS) 2019 by involving the school students of class VI-VIII and class lX-XII on similar lines as indicated in the action plan in swachhata pakhwada' And also insrruct the CMOs of the district office, SSA to monitor the programme by involving cRPs and report daily immediately to state office by 4:00pm and ensure the success of the programme'
