All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are informed that. Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS). A.P.. has promoted a spirit of service and to build awareness relating to cleanliness. hygiene. waste management. environmental protec tion and social issues. has decided to institute awards for institutions and individuals involved in these activities. The awards will be given to institutions. the Nodal Officers and the Young Red Cross and Junior Red Cross volunteers who perform the best in the following categories and requested to issue necessary instructions to all the schools in the State:i. Cleanliness. Hygiene and Green Coverin the campus
ii. Conservation ot Energy and water in the camps
iii. Waste Management in the Campus
iv. Awareness on Social Concerns.
A copy of the IRCS-Andhra Pradesh guidelines are enclosed herewith.
Therefore all lhe Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District
Educational Officers are requested to communicate the guidelines of the Red Cross Society to all Headmasters I Headmistress of all High Schools of all managements in the State wilh instructions to support the students of 8•h & above Classes of their respective schools lo get themselves enrolled for the awards programme duly following the given IRCS guidelines without fail.
