   It is informed that the Joint Secretary, Dept. of School Education & Literacy, MHRD, GOI, New Delhi in the ref. read above (copy enclosed) has stated that the Hon'ble Prime Minister will be interacting with a cross section of Students,Teachers and Parents for another exciting edition - Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi on 29th January, 2019.

   In this context an online competition is being organized from 7th January to 17th January, 2019 to the students of classes 9 to 12, their parents and their teachers can also participate through www.mygov.in website on the following themes:

  The details of the contest are attached and can also be viewed on www.mygov.in website.

   The winners of the contest – students, teachers and parents will be invited to attend the event in New Delhi on 29th January in person. A few of them willalso have an opportunity to meet the Hon'ble Prime Minister.

   The modalities for selecting the above mentioned winners of the contest is as under:

a.   My Gov will give the State and UT wise details of all the participants to the contest, who are students of classes IX to XII and who are parents of and teachers of students in classes IX to XII to the Department of School Education & Literacy, MHRD by 17th January, 2019.

b.   The Department of School Education & Literacy, MHRD will forward these soft copies to the States and UTs by 18th January, 2019 morning.

c.   The States and UTs will set up a committee to make the final selection of students, teachers and parents.

d.  They will ensure that the selected students, parents and teachers reach Delhi by 27th January, 2019 definitely. They will depart from Delhi on 30th January, 2019.

   The number of students, teachers and parents allotted to the State of Andhra Pradesh is as under :

i. Students - 20

ii. Teachers – 04

iii. Parents - 04

  Further they are informed that after receiving of the online nominations from DSEL, MHRD a committee which will be constituted by the Commissioner of School Education, will finalize the list of participants and send them for interaction with Hon,ble Prime Minister on 29th January'19.

   The travelling expenses (by train) of selected students, teachers and parents will be borne by the State Government at par with Kala Utsav norms from the grant approved in PAB 2018-19 under Samagra Shiksha and the expenditure of boarding, lodging and local travel in Delhi will be borne by Government of India.

  The selected participating team should carry adequate warm clothes. Teacher, Parents / Escorts who are accompanying children with special needs may be properly sensitized about their requirements. Special arrangements if any, required at Delhi for CWSN may be informed to them well in time.

  Further it is informed that The DSE&L, MHRD will look after all arrangements in New Delhi to receive the students and accompanying teachers and parents for their boarding and lodging.
