ORDER:
In the circumstances stated by the Principal, Sainik School, Kalikiri, Chittoor District in the letter read above, Government, hereby, appoint the following Examination Boards for Written Test for admission to Classes VI & IX scheduled on 06 Jan 2019 (Sunday) during the session and for conduct of Medical Examination of the qualified candidates based on the merit list to be held during Feb 2019 for admission into Sainik School Kalikiri, Chittoor Distt for 2019-20 Session. The Principal, Sainik School Kalikiri shall appoint Sainik School Kalikiri teachers to each centre to assist the Board towards conduct of the written test. However, the District Educational Officer of each District where examination centre is located will be fully responsible for the smooth conduct of the above Entrance Examination. They will take custody of the Question Papers kept in a sealed Trunk and labelled as “CONFIDENTIAL” sent by the Principal, Sainik School Kalikiri through his representatives one or two days prior to the conduct of Examination and ensure safe custody of Question Paper Trunk.
2. All District Collectors and District Educational Officers are requested to nominate their nominee to the respective district and Superintendent of Police of the Chittoor, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore, Ananthapuram and Prakasam districts concerned Districts shall be asked to make necessary security arrangements for smooth and fair conduct of the examination
3. Roll Nos. of all the candidates who qualify after written test for ‘Merit List’ will be published in Local and National leading newspapers and School official Website.
4. Medical Examination of the candidates will be conducted by the Sainik School, Kalikiri soon after finalisation of the initial merit list. Details of conduct of Medical Examination are as follows:-
(a) Medical Examination will be held from 11 Feb 2019 to 28 Feb 2019.
(b) Sainik School, Kalikiri will intimate each candidate, who qualifies in the merit list, regarding the date and venue of Medical Examination.
(c) Conduct of Medical Examination : The Medical Examination will be conducted by the Medical Specialists from Sri Venkateswara Ramnarayan Ruia Govt General Hospital, Tirupathi, Chittoor Dist. The Medical standards for entry into Sainik Schools are same as that for the entry into the National Defence Academy.
5. Based on the results of Medical Examination a final merit list will be prepared by Sainik School Kalikiri and the same will be published in all leading news papers of Andhra Pradesh and School Official Website.
6. Principal, Sainik School, Kalikiri at his discretion is empowered to cancel any of the examination centres, in case sufficient number of candidates (i.e. minimum 100 candidates) do not opt to appear from a particular examination centre
7. The District Collectors, and District Educational Officers of Chittoor, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore, Ananthapuram and Prakasam are requested to take further necessary action for smooth and fair conduct of the examination.
