5. Representations of certain MLCs (Teacher Constituencies). certain Teacher Associations, A P. Municipal Ministerial Employees Association and the Municipal Employees & Workers Joint Action Committee.

1.    In the circumstances as stated by the Director of Municipal Administration, A.P. Guntur in the references cited, the proposal for opening of PF Accounts for Municipal Teachers and Employees has been examined in detail and felt that the PF accounts have to be opened in respect of all the Municipal Teachers working in all Urban Local Bodies and Municipal Employees working in all the Urban Local Bodies except Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation and Vijayawada Municipal Corporation as the employees of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation and Vijayawada Municipal Corporations are not yet covered under 10 salaries.

2.   Accordingly, Government hereby orders for the opening of PF Accounts for Municipal Teachers working in all Urban Local Bodies and Municipal Employees working in all the Urban Local Bodies except Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation and Vijayawada Municipal Corporation duly following the procedure which is being followed in respect of Zilla Parishad Employees and Teachers.

3.   The Director of Municipal Administration, A.P. Guntur is, therefore, requested to take further necessary action in the matter accordingly.

4.   This Memo issues with the concurrence of the Finance (HR.V) Department vide their U.O.No. 34021/120/HRV, Dated 04/04/2018.
