MTSE - Maths Talent Search Exam 2016. Apply Online.

What is MTSE?
Maths Talent Search Examination (MTSE) is an online competitive examination conducted at various levels by the Indian Institute for Studies in Mathematics (IISMA). The focus of this exam is on mathematical reasoning, mental ability, novel approach, concepts, accuracy and speed.
MTSE is an open exam. Any student studying in Class III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII or IX under any educational board is eligible to appear for MTSE. A student can appear only for the class in which he/she is studying during the academic year.
Nature of Exam
The paper consists of 35 objective questions i.e. each question  has 4 alternatives. These questions are to be answered in 60 minutes. The correct answer is awarded with 2 marks, whereas the wrong one carries a penalty of 0.5 marks, except for Class III and IV.
Registration for MTSE 2016
Date of Examination : Sunday, 28th February, 2016.
( Please note that the management reserves the right to change the date and/or timings of MTSE under unavoidable circumstances. However, any request for the adjustment in date and/or timings of MTSE will not be entertained. )
You can register for MTSE 2016 by filling up the form and paying the necessary fees online or through your school/our co-ordinator.

Mode of Payment
The fee shall be paid online under various available options.
We request you to avoid depositing cash in our bank accounts.
No payments by cheque sent to our office will be accepted.

The Registration fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Hall Ticket, Seat Number and Centre for Examination
The Hall Ticket, bearing the student’s Seat Number and Centre for the Examination is mailed to the school 10 days prior to the date of the examination. You can also download your Hall Ticket by visiting the Downloads section of this website.

The results of the examination are declared on this website by the 31st of March and can be checked by visiting the Results section. The Score Card can also be downloaded from our site. The certificates are sent to the schools by the 30th of June. Students are requested to keep checking this site periodically.
